On Tuesday, April 7, 2007 Moves & Grooves hosted its’ first Easter Egg Hunt at the McGruder Family Resource Center in North Nashville. Over 55 youth from the Cumberland View area gathered to enjoy face painting, candy, and of course colorful Easter eggs. 13 lucky winners found the “Special Golden Egg” which was later exchanged for a large Easter Basket. Volunteers from Fisk University helped to set-up, clean and even assist the “little ones” in finding Easter treasures. The children as well as the volunteer staff thoroughly enjoyed themselves and look forward to more MAGnificent activities in the upcoming months.

Saturday, March 3, was definitely an evening to remember. The MAG middle school and elementary school students stepped out in their most fashionable evening wear to attend the Annual Spring Bling Dance.
